Cannot publish data using Microsoft Dynamics Excel add-in

I was using Microsoft Dynamics AX excel add-in to import master data in Dynamics AX 2012 and the Publish All button was disabled after getting my excel sheet ready with data.

To publish the data using excel add-in, close the FIELD CHOSER window once you have selected all the fields you want to push to AX and then you will see Publish button enabled.

  1. Dear Yasir,

I am trying to import the data from excel to ax 2012 through office addins.

I have done succesfully the export procedure, but I could not import the data.

i have done the following steps

    1) created a query of the table where I wanted to import the data.

    2) go to the exel and "Add Data"

    3) In "Add Data", -> Add tables

    4) select the table where wanted to import the data.

    5) added the required field, closed the field choser

    6) Added data, selected the data

    7) Clicked on "Publish All".

But my publishing failed getting following error

    1. You can try enabling logging exceptions in AIF to get a meaningful error. Deactivate the service through Inbounds port form on System Organization module and then from Troubleshooting fast tab

Choose enable logging for all version of documents and then check both the boxes on this tab saying include exception in fault etc.

After you get this error in excel, go to Exceptions form or History form under Periodic -> Services and applications framework on system organization module to see the errors.
